Schedule

School Rules

• ​Wear your school uniform.
• Be on time to your class. (5 min. tolerance)
• Have your materials ready.
• ​Do not chat during class without permission.
• Use your real names on your profiles. Fail to do so and you will not be admitted to the class.
• Do not eat during class.
• To ask questions / permission, raise your virtual hand.
• Sit in a proper place during class. (Not being on a bed, restroom, etc.)
• ​Respect your teacher.

Activities and Homework Rules

• Follow the instructions correctly.
• All activities and homework will be posted and managed in Google Classroom and Zoom.
• All activities and homework must be submitted within the deadline.
• Activities and homework will be returned without a grade when failing to follow the instructions correctly.
• If the teacher returns an activity and/or homework without a grade, the student can resubmit it only within the deadline.
• Students can correct any mistakes from their activities and/or homework before the deadline.
• Students can request to postpone the deadline, but it will be at the teachers discretion.
• If the student plagiarizes an activity and/or homework, the teacher will automatically nullify the student's activity and/or homework. (Same goes to the students facilitating the pragmatism.)

Exam Rules

• Follow the instructions correctly.
• All exams will be posted in Google Classroom.
• The students must submit their exams before the end of the class.
• If there is evidence of cheating on a test, the student will have the test nullified.

Evaluation Criteria

70% Class Activities & Homework
30% Exam

How to calculate your Activities and Homework.

Your submitted activities & homework divided by the total of activities & homework left by the teacher, then multiplied by 70. With this we get how much percentage we have out of the 70% of activities and homework.

e.g.
Mike has 5 out of 8 activities and homework.
5 ÷ 8 = 0.62
0.62 x 70 = 43.4 out of 70 on activities and homework.

How to calculate your Exams.

Your correct answers divided by the total of questions on the exam, then multiplied by 30. With this we get how much percentage we have out of the 30% of the exam.

e.g.
Mike has 35 out of 50 correct answers on his exam.
35 ÷ 50 = 0.7
0.7 x 30 = 21 out of 30 on the exam

How to get your final grade

We add up the total percentage of activities, homework and exam to get the final grade.

43.4 + 21 = 64.4 out of 100 for final grade.

Mike has 64.4 (out of 100) in his final score, or 6.44 (out of 10) on the report card.

Class participation

Every time a student participates, it will be recorded on the teacher's list.

Students with above average participation can receive extra points on their grades (at the teacher's discretion).
